Get This Makeup Off!

As I have said in many blogs before, I love wearing makeup. I put in on everyday so I really need a good makeup remover to take it off at the end of the day, especially since some of my foundations that look amazing doesn’t always feel amazing! In those cases I am glad to come home and strip everything off…my face that is.

I have a strict routine when it comes to washing my face and I always start with a makeup remover. I love the idea of the towelette, but it has to be pre-moistened, the dry ones annoy me and are just the same as using soap…you have to wash it by splashing water on your face. I love the pre-moistened towelettes because you can travel with them or throw them in your purse and no matter what the day brings you, you know you have a way to wash you face in a pinch. I have tried many…many different types of these face wipes and my absolute number one brand I always go back to…surprisingly is CVS brand Cleansing & Makeup Remover Towelettes. They have different ones for different things but I always stock up on the textured one, which claims to give a deep clean and remove impurities. This CVS drugstore brand is the most effective wipe I have used; it takes off all of my waterproof makeup…without scrubbing! These towelettes do not get enough credit and it is a diamond in the rough you all should know about! I can NOT life without these and when I ALMOST run out I run to CVS and buy them in bulk. They always have specials on them too so I can buy 2 for the price of one or buy one get one free…you can’t go wrong.

After I use one of these wipes my face feel clean and not oily/greasy like some other wipes made my face feel. As part of my routine I always follow up with Cetaphil to give my skin an absolute flawlessly clean face. Towelettes are the best way to go for easy, fast makeup removal. I even use them to freshen my face and prep it for makeup in the morning or anytime I need my face to feel clean again, they are my go to cleaner for sure! If you haven’t tried them yet, go try them! Just because a product cost more it doesn’t always means it works better…trust me!  Also, it does matter which drugstore brand it is, I have tried all the drugstore brands and still think the CVS ones are the best around.
