Brighten, Lighten, and Awe

Hi All! It's Tara here, with a top notch under-eye concealer recommendation this Tuesday. It’s actually a great week for me to discuss under-eye concealer, as I didn’t get nearly enough sleep this weekend and have been using this product like wild the past few days!

If there’s one under-eye product I love—and will stick with for a while—its Jane Iredale’s Circle Delete. Each pot has two shades, which makes it great for concealing dark circles, covering spots, and highlighting the inner eye area. I love this product because of its perfect texture and ease of application. I haven’t bought another under-eye concealer since trying it!

A tip for applying under-eye concealer: make sure to highlight the areas of your eyes that aren’t puffy, like the inner eye area mentioned above. Lighter colors are easier to spot and reflect light, thus diverting attention away from those unfortunate puffy dark areas that result from too little sleep, too much stress, or some nasty combination of both.

Another useful piece of info I just learned: the versatility of eye drops. I had no idea that models and actresses swear by eye drops, in order to remove the redness of tired eyes! Not a contact lens wearer myself, I've been a fan of Clear Eyes for years. Word on the street is that models stick with Goutte Bleu drops, though.

Of course the absolute best solution for dark circles and tired eyes is sleep and a healthy diet! For those of you like me--for whom sleep can be a luxury--use a great cover-up like Circle Delete to impress your friends and coworkers, and make them wonder "how on EARTH does she do it??"
