Here’s to Quick Fixes!

Hello and welcome to the most welcomed day of the week… Friday!

The “experts” have said that we have to take time for ourselves, right?  We, as women, especially moms have heard this many times and we know what happens to our households when we are sick…. NOTHING!  The laundry sits, the dishes that are in the sink sit and the kids, well they pretty much eat what they want and baths are for tomorrow.  So ladies we HAVE to find the time to detox from the stresses of everyday life.  As we’ve talked throughout the month of January how to relieve some of those stresses and I know all the excuses that can be used, because I’ve used them.  The biggest one, “I don’t have time.”  We’ve all used it.  But I also know and understand the consequences of not de-stressing from life.  You know what?  You have to make the time, because it’s better for you AND your family.


As a single mom of 2 under the age of 6, I have limited “me” time.  Normally I don’t fall for quick fix products or if I do, I have to have had a friend recommend it.  But I took a leap of faith and tried EyeSlices from Biotonix.  Lately I haven’t been able to sleep and have been waking up looking like I had a whole set of luggage under my eyes.  So this morning I decided to try these little slices of heaven.  I know what you’re thinking, “I don’t have time for this in the morning.” Well it only takes 5 minutes and presto! Beautiful, Alert eyes!  I couldn’t believe it myself.  There isn’t any mixing solutions or having to wash stuff off.  Just place these jelly-like pads over your eyes and wait.  They are cool to the touch and feel wonderful on tired swollen eyes.  One of the best parts, is they can be used multiple times, up to 10 times!  So you get your moneys worth.
