Combat Nail Damage with These Weapons!

Hi Folks,

Blake here to talk about nail treatments:

I’m a big advocate of putting on a base coat before applying my polish.  The base coat fills in the ridges in my nails and makes the nail polish look more professional.  The use of a base coat keeps the colored polish from staining my nail beds.

Depending on my needs I use different products for my base coats.  I’m very hard on my nails and unfortunately I don’t treat them with the respect they deserve.  For fun I work with stained glass.  My nails take a major beating from the glass grinder.  I wear gloves but my nails still get water logged.  Water makes my nails soft so they separate and peel.  Not a good thing at all!  I have a few go to products to help combat the damage I cause.

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails:  This is my number one go to product for a base coat.  Pure and simple it works as a hardener and a strengthener and that’s what I usually need.

The features of this product:

Ø  Strength and shine

Ø  Pro-vitamin B5 and green tea

Ø  Dbp, toulene and formaldehyde free

Sally Hansen Miracle Cure:   This product is for severe problem nails.  When I’ve been especially hard on my nails I use the Miracle Cure under the Hard as Nails.  This helps my nails return to a healthy level.

The features of this product:

Ø  50% stronger nails in 3 days

Ø  Stops nails from peeling

Ø  Exclusive micro-mineral formula fills in cracks to instantly stop nails from peeling

Ø  Natural protein and super anti-oxidant formula strengthen nails

Sally Hansen Age Correct Strength Dry + Brittle Care:  I use this product for my vertical splits.

The features of this product:

Ø  Strengthen and prevent  brittleness

Ø  Ridges are visibly diminished in just 3 weeks

Ø  Nails are smooth & resistant to splitting & cracking

Remember take time to enjoy life!
