Blake here to talk about nail treatments:
I’m a big advocate of putting on a base coat before applying
my polish. The base coat fills in the
ridges in my nails and makes the nail polish look more professional. The use of a base coat keeps the colored
polish from staining my nail beds.
Depending on my needs I use different products for my base
coats. I’m very hard on my nails and
unfortunately I don’t treat them with the respect they deserve. For fun I work with stained glass. My nails take a major beating from the glass
grinder. I wear gloves but my nails
still get water logged. Water makes my
nails soft so they separate and peel.
Not a good thing at all! I have a
few go to products to help combat the damage I cause.
