Hey readers! Gina here, on this weeks topic; organic and
natural products. For this week I had
expressed to the team that I couldn’t really think of any great organic
products that I had used. That’s when
Jessica helped me out and showed me the Burt’s Bees Essentials kit.
This kit includes soap bark and chamomile deep cleansing cream, hand salve, naturally nourishing milk & honey lotion, coconut foot cream and beeswax lip balm. Out of all of those products my favorite was probably the beeswax lip balm! It conditions your lips and leaves them smooth and protected and moisturized. I ended up leaving the kit in my purse because it was small and I would have products to use when I needed them. I ended up finding that each and everyday I had a use for one or more of the products in the set.
The lip balm I
found myself using every day because I loved the way the constant moisture left
the color and texture of my lips. This
actually led me to look into the other lip balms Burt’s Bees carries, and I
ended up getting a little carried away with them! Lol! I tried their lip tints,
which are amazing! There are so many colors and I just really like the way the
beeswax in the balms feels on my lips. 
My
favorite one was the Champagne shade! My other favorite that came out of this
kit was the hand salve. I LOVE the smell of it! Plus after using it and leaving it on my hands
for a while they feel as soft as ever! The milk & honey lotion I used every
time I got out of the shower, just using it on my freshly shaved legs and they
stayed smooth and softer for days. Overall I really liked all of the products
enough to use each one of them again. I
liked the idea of the kit though because I got a chance to use small sized
bottles to find out what I really liked without wasting whole bottles of
anything I didn’t like. This kit made me
go on a little Burt’s Bees rampage. Lol! I liked their products enough to go online
and find the products in their full sizes and buy them. I also really love the fact that they’re all
natural and organic products so there are no harmful or added chemicals in them
that sometimes tend to irritate my sensitive skin. This kit overall for me was
a big success!
