Hi there, future follower.  Starting tomorrow, we will begin sharing loads of insider skincare information and know-how with you; but first, a proper introduction is in order.  Here’s a little bit about who we are, and what we plan to do on this blog.

We are a team of visionaries who coupled our extraordinary experience with innovative ideas and passion for the cosmetic industry to create First Impact New York, ltd.  With over three decades of cosmetic-industry expertise, we fill a current void in the industry for niche products by teaming together with specially selected formulators, chemists, and laboratories within the Spa and Prestige markets.  We help companies in the industry grow through: results-driven, custom skincare formulas; brand development; focus groups; consulting and guidance on clinical testing and various other processes; and assistance in going green.

Over the years, we’ve recognized (with the help of endless questions from our friends, family, and clients…) that people are extremely interested in looking and feeling their best, but also extremely overwhelmed by all of the skincare and beauty products to choose from.  There are droves of products out there, and few people have the time or resources to research the products that are truly worth their hard-earned money.

We’ve conducted extensive research to target the best and most popular products on today’s skincare market, and on this blog our team members will review these products daily.  Our team members’ diverse geographies (New York City, California, and Southern Maine), ages (twenties to sixties), and backgrounds will allow us to guide you through the world of beauty.

If a reviewed product fits the F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S. standards, it can receive First Impact New York’s Certified F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S. seal, so keep any eye out for our certifications; see what products captivate our entire team, and make us all fall in love to the point that we unanimously declare it to be Certified F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S.

Finally, we thought you should know that our review process is guaranteed to be un-biased.  We’ve never accepted money or gifts for positive reviews of skincare products in the past, and we’re certainly not going to begin doing so now…  As a matter of fact, the companies do not even know we are reviewing their products. 

So that’s a little bit about us.  We’re looking forward to sharing our reviews with you; answering your questions; and clarifying the true differences between those $5 and $55 products on the market today.
