Bare is a beautiful feeling!

Hey All... it's Friday and you know what that means... It's me, Beckie comin' atcha!

I don't know about you, but I know I've had mornings when I've arrived at work with maybe one leg shaved or no mascara on because some how during my morning routine my mind went some where else and I was distracted. It's a weird feeling... kind of silly really...but great for office gossip! :)

In previous blogs we've talked about all types of moisturizers; some with SPF's, some without and some with color added to them. Well this week I ventured out to try mineral powder makeup with SPF and see what happened. In the past, I had tried Bare Minerals and thought it was all right, but the foundation didn't include and SPF. So this time, I thought I would give Neutrogena's Mineral Sheers a try. This mineral powder offers a broad spectrum UVA/UVB coverage.

Well you know how I was telling you about going to work without mascara, that's how I felt wearing this mineral powder foundation. On the first day wearing it, I got to the office and it dawned on me about 10 o'clock... my face didn't feel sticky and I thought, "oh geez, I forgot to put my foundation on." Then I remembered, I was wearing the mineral foundation. It was an amazing feeling! To me, there is nothing worse than feeling like I'm wearing makeup. Or how about when you give someone a hug and what's left behind on their shoulder? Your left cheek. Oops! With the powder, I didn't have to worry about the chin line and we all know what that's like. This product just blends in with your skin. Originally I thought... Really, how well can a powder cover my blazing red blemish on my chin? Believe it or not, this powder does pretty well and stays there. I couldn't believe it.

Now I would not recommend using this as a replacement for a sunscreen when going to the beach or river. Stick to your favorite facial sunscreen for that, but for any other day, I would say check out Neutrogena's Mineral Sheer foundation. Especially for sticky summer days, it'll help hide the shine.

Until next week.... stay Fabulous!

Beckie
