A Rosy-Colored View of Face Sunscreens

I don’t know about you, but I’ve always felt the need to wear a different face sunscreen from my body sunscreen. I wouldn’t dream of putting a body cream on my face, so why would I put a body sunscreen there? Not only do face sunscreens contain certain face-specific ingredients (like Black Tea and Grape Seed Extract antioxidants), you can purchase tinted ones!

Also, as you know by now, I pay VERY close attention to what I’m putting on my face...so when it comes down to sunscreens—which have gotten tons of bad press for their ingredients lately—I did some serious research... By this, I mean, I bought or came upon samples of QUITE a few tinted sunscreens. In trying the products, I found that the major difference lies in the color of the tint and the texture of the product.

What did I find? There are tons of good ones out there, but right now Coola Suncare’s Rose Tinted SPF 20 is my all-time favorite. I liked the color—most tinted lotions indicate that they work with “all skin tones,” but oftentimes this is not the case. I also LOVE the smell. Think about your sunscreens of 'yore-I don't have good thoughts about those smells!

Try a few others for yourself, but I can guarantee you'll like this one!
