No Oil Slick Here, Just Smooth Sexy Skin!

Hello Friends, it's Friday and well you know who I am... Beckie!

Summer seems to be winding down and starting school is right around the corner, but who's ready to put wool pants on and hide your summer glow? Not me! I'm going to try and hold out as long as I can.

When I was younger, I always knew that warmer months were on their way, when I heard..."We wear short, shorts..." well, you know the rest and then the vision of these sexy shimmery legs dancing around. Now much older, I still want to have those legs and what way to better accentuate your tan than with oils and shimmers.

Now I do have to agree with Sara, I'm too old and not in the right profession to be wearing body glitter, but when I go out at night and wear an off the shoulder top or strapless dress, I will dust my shoulders and decolletage with Urban Decay's Honey body powder. The powder offers just a little bit of glint and makes my skin look like it was kissed by the sun gods. Not to mention, it has a delicious taste- wink, wink !

Having said that, there is a time and a place for shimmer. Going and meeting with a client, not really on the top of my list, so I opt for a body oil instead. Living in a dry climate, I've tried a lot of different body oils. Many have been just that, oils. They moisturize my skin, ya, but they also leave a slick behind them... not cool on a silk blouse. A less expensive oil that I do like is, Skin So Soft from Avon. It's been around for years and smells great and even wards off bugs. I thought though, I need to venture out and see what else is out there and I found, Origins Ginger Gloss. Friends, I'm in love! You spray it on and rub it in giving your skin a radiant gleam. This formula is amazing. Once you put it on, it hydrates your skin but doesn't leave behind an oily mess, just a soft, smooth, sexy skin. The Ginger Gloss has a intoxicating smell of ginger(duh!) and citrus and just makes me feel invigorated to start my day.

So I'm going to keep holding on to summer as long as I can... stay tuned until next week.

Cheers
