Masks don't have to be scary
Happy Friday Friends... it's me...Beckie,
When I was in high school I remember being concerned about my skin. So my best girl friend and I would have "spa" days. This entailed sitting in our fuzzy robes, sipping cucumber water (because that's what we saw in a movie) and putting on all sorts of facial products. At the time, I worked in a drug store, so I always was buying new products to try. Our favorites though, were from Freeman Cosmetics. I know you know which ones I'm talking about. You know, the Cucumber Peel or the Avocado & Oatmeal mask. Hey, they fit our minimum wage budget!
Now that I have a little more years under my belt, I've expanded my beauty repertoire to other products. Recently I tried, Astara's Violet Flame Enzyme Mask. I will say... Oh My! This stuff is fantastic. My face had a radiant glow and my pores smaller, but there was a slight residual smell left behind. It has a delicious beach smell going on, but I'm not sure what happens afterwards.
Another product that caught my attention was from Bliss. It's their Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask. WOW! Say that real fast! Well the name says it all. This product seems to do it all; clean, rejuvenate and fight off free-radicals. What I like about it is, when you put it on you can actually feel it working. My face was tingling with delight. The formula helps deliver oxygen to your skin to give you your glow and with the addition of Vitamin C also helps in brightening and tightening your face. On top of it all, it's perfect for someone that's likes to multi-task like me. Unlike some masks, you have to apply to dry skin and then wait around looking like you're in a casting call for Return of the Dead. Not with this one. You can apply it in the shower and while your shaving your legs, it's working it's magic. Then wash off and BOOM you're a beautiful goddess. It's really that easy.
Fun Fact: The most common injury caused by cosmetics is to the eye by a mascara wand- so be careful!
Have a F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S weekend!
