Cool & Refreshing

Greeting to all Grayce here!

After cleansing your skin I do recommend using a toner for several reasons some will act as a skin softener as well as removing any debris left on the skin. Secondly a toner can be very soothing especially to dry skin it will give it a boost as well as cleansing the pores.
I indulge and use very soft cotton pads Shiseido’s are my favorite.

They are so gentle but effective they will add to the experience of pampering your skin. I’m all for that!!!!

I really like the Peach Toner from EmerginC.

This is a light fresh formulation excellent to tone and soften your skin.  It will adjust the pH, removes dead skin cells and prepares skin for better product absorption.

It is a wonderful blend of Vitamin C, witch hazel, peach extract, mimosa extract, and chamomile. They also have this available in their travel kit.

The Humphreys Lilac Witch Hazel Facial Toner feels very soothing and softening on your skin I do recommend this to any one on a budget.
It gently nourishes dry skin without the use of harsh chemicals.. Even the most sensitive skin takes on a healthy radiance.
Witch hazel is in both of the above and has always had a plethora of uses.
According to Wikipedia the Native Americans produced witch hazel extract by boiling the stems and used it to treat sore muscles, cuts, insect bites, poison ivy and other inflammations.
Witch hazel is also used in skincare as an astringent, and a natural remedy for psoriasis, eczema and aftershave applications. It is found in numerous over-the-counter hemorrhoid preparations to reduce swelling, very soothing to the skin.
We always kept Witch Hazel in our fridge growing up 1st thing that was applied to a bruise or bug bite. To this day I keep bottle of in at home also in my fridge.
Enjoy the journey!
