As Jessica stated, there are about a bazillion to choose
from right? How do you know what works
best? It’s crazy and a bit intimidating because she’s right, it gets pricey
too. Sure some stores have amazing
return policies but I don’t know about you, if I return something to Ulta or
Sephora, I always wind up buying something else too. It’s like they know my weaknesses. So it becomes even more expensive!
I’ve dabbled all over the place with eyeliners. From felt tip to brush applicators, to just
using a brush to apply. In the end it
depends on the effect that I’m going for.
If I want bold and dark, I go with the felt tip applicator- it gives me
more control over the lines. If I want
soft and subtle, I use a powder eye liner and apply with a brush.
As I mentioned last week, I love the MAC ink pots because of
their versatility of being a shadow or eyeliner. But I also like their Penultimate Eye Liner. It’s just that, a pen with a felt tip
applicator. It distributes an even
amount of “ink” and never globs up like your typical liquid eyeliner. Plus, it’s waterproof, SCORE!
I guess I’m kinda strange because when I put on eyeliner,
I’ll use 2 different kinds and here’s why.
I like the smokey eye look, but I can’t figure out how to get the liquid
eyeliner to stay on my lower eye lid.
Believe me I’ve tried and I wind up poking myself in the eyeball and
then liquid eye liner EVERYWHERE!
AWEsome! So I use a pencil. Silly?
Yes! My favorite is from
Smashbox. It’s their Limitless Eyeliner. It too is waterproof and lasts up to 8
hours. Until I grow up and become a
make-up star, that’s what I’ll keep doin’.
Over the weekend, think about this.
“Pretty is what you are, beauty is what you do with it.”
Have a great one.
Cheers!
