Spring is in the air, not officially, but certainly lately here in the
north east. I’m just crossing my fingers
that we don’t get one of those spring snow storms! Spring brings us more of the
sun and the sun brings with it much needed vitamin D. Maybe it’s just the vitamin D, but I tend to
where a little more make-up in the spring as well. When it comes to make-up however, I’m a
minimalist. I love make-up; I just don’t always have the time to apply it.
One of my can’t-leave-the-house-without-applying
is eyeliner. For every day, I personally only like to apply eyeliner to the top
of my lid and my go to is usually Cover Girl Perfect Point Plus
eyeliner. I love this pencil! It glides on easily, provides great control
and includes a smudger tip if you are looking for a softer look. It also has a self-sharpener so you never
have to worry about that perfect point.
My favorite color is #205 Charcoal and for about $6 each, stocking up is
very affordable.
Now when
I go out or am feeling like I need more, I apply eyeliner more heavily to both
top and bottom lids and go with a higher-end product like NARS Larger Than Life Long-Wear
eyeliner. Its cream base gives a smooth glide and a
budge-proof finish. I love Rue De Rivoli (Metallic
forest green) and Via Appia (Copper brown).
So have
some fun with eyeliner color this spring, but most importantly, take care of
yourself.
