Diamonds are a girls best friend! In my world, this is a
highly revered saying. Anything that SPARKLES is instantly on my hot
list. Whoever decided to throw sequins and rhinestones on clothing and
accessories clearly saw me coming from miles away! Bland and plain just doesn’t
do it for this big personality. Asking anyone who knows me you’ll find
that I have a ridiculous addiction to the shimmering, shinning, sparkling side
of life. So when it comes to my skin why would there be any
difference? This is where my favorite after sun lotion shines through (no
pun intended, LOL!). Hawaiian Tropics Shimmer Effects After Sun
Moisturizer is a favorite of mine that really puts that last touch of a twinkle
into any look. 
So one day while on vacation I bought a bottle of tanning
lotion that came with a sample bottle of the Hawaiian Tropic: Shimmer Effects. I ignored
the little freebie until the sun, sand, and saltwater left my skin feeling a
little dried out. The things we do for that widely desired sun kissed
color! So I decided to try the moisturizer and after using it once I didn’t go
a single day on the trip without using it! Since then I have searched
every summer for this product in bulk because I love it so much and don’t want
to run out!
After any day in the sun I go home to shower and then
instantly turn to this stuff! I love the smell so much that I don’t even
pair it with perfume, I just wear it alone. I will say however, that I
usually only apply it when I’m planning on going out because If I apply it just
to lounge around the house, I end up leaving a trail behind. My mother
would gladly tell you how much her seat cushions just LOVE those sparkles too,
especially when she’s scrubbing them out! ;) That’s a mistake you DON’T
make twice. Applying the lotion everywhere, I always end up washing my
hands after because there is SO much shimmer packed into this little bottle!
The tiny gold mica specks reflect a dramatic shimmer to the skin tone all while
moisturizing and evening out the appearance of a tan. It definitely gives
my skin that extra boost and the smell follows me for the night to come.
So even though this might not be the perfect daily wear shimmer it’s a
great product to own for a dramatic sparkle to accentuate and enhance your skin
when you’re looking for a little extra flashiness in your life!
