Jessica back again this week as we talk about shimmers that flatter. I think it's hard at a certain age to find shimmers that look mature and not so...little girl-ish. Glitter and sparkles are fine, but I just don't think they are my thing...I barely like using shimmer eye shadows.
I think shimmers are best used on the body to reflect any imperfections, but I always like using one that bronzes at the same time. When it comes to body shimmer, my fave is Lorac: TANtalizer body bronzing luminizer. I always feel super sexy when I put it on and I know my legs look flawless! Depending on what I am wearing I could use it all over my body. Just have to make sure it dries before putting on clothes! I can't be without this when I go to special events year round! I know I have talked about that before, but I had to mention it again in case you missed my blog about it :)
Now, moving on...as I was in Vegas interviewing a bunch of brands I actually was AMAZED but this airbrush makeup system called TEMPTU. It is a really great interview with a demo so you will have to watch our YouTube channel and look our for it. Lead global makeup artist, Cory Bishop demonstrated the famous J-Lo shimmer highlighter look on my cheeks and it was an instant glow! I was instantly captivated and dazzled by what that little machine could do in an instant! He let me try it out myself and let me tell you...it was SUPER easy! You can control the amount of product/ coverage you get by how much you pull the trigger.

The machine itself can be a little pricey, around $225, but they also offer a great TV offer where you can try it for $29.95 for 60 days. The foundation pods are $45 but when I asked Cory how long one would last he said if used everyday it is a 3 month supply. That makes it $15 a month which is about what I spend on foundation anyway! My skin looked so glowing and radiant I would not mind making this investment!!! Plus I should mention no cleaning it...EVER! The system is set up perfectly with the pods you basically snap in a pod and the air blows through that particular pod package. To change it just snap it off and snap another one in...NO MESS!
I will update you on this investment and how the foundation and eye shadow features work. I know it is incredible for lip color too since Cory applied some on me in no time...you can watch it live during our interview session...truly shocking :)
