Do You Know Your Fragrance Personality?

Hello, I'm Jessica and we are continuing perfume & body spray week. I think that taste in fragrance is very personal and particular. Me personally, I tend to learn towards more masculine scents, I literally have a cologne that I wear because I thought it was a feminine cologne. I really do not have any specific floral or specific fruit flavored type in my place, apart from one I received as a gift and I rarely use it..it only gets put on when I am not expecting to do anything really. Oh yeah I totally put on perfume everyday, even when I know I am just staying home! I love scents and perfumes and it is one of my girly-girl things that makes me feel  sexy and womanly. It puts me in a good mood by just wearing it, so without a doubt I never forget to spritz something on as part of my routine after deodorant!

I have favorites that I make sure I always have in stock, I am more faithful to my body sprays than perfumes. When it comes to perfume I always try to find a new scent when it is time to switch. I have a weird personality trait where I use what I have before I buy something else, some people can have multiple fragrances around the house (and I do) but I tend to use one constantly until it is gone and then move on to another. Sometimes my mood or outfit will dictate which scent I will choose, but that is rare.

So, as top body spray favorites go I am a loyal customer to Victoria's Secret Very Sexy! I have the lotion too so I always pair them together when I put it on, and I usually only wear this when I am going out at night with friends or on a date. It is a very sexy scent and I ALWAYS get compliments when I wear it, which is always nice :) It is has a blend of vanilla orchid, sun-drenched clementine and midnight blackberry...it's alluring! Wear this when you want attention, hah.

Next up, perfume! As I have said, I usually switch this up, but I do have a few favorites that meet my standards when it comes to scent. First up, Beyonce's Heat. Okay first of all let's talk about it's description: "Beyoncé Heat is a captivating fragrance that unleashes a spirited fire within. It is a unique expression of a woman's powerful sensuality: sexy, elegant yet feminine with an air of mystery, this fragrance reflects a self-assured woman, who is not afraid to desire and to be desired." Um...Yes please! This fragrance definitely delivers all that it says. I feel very confident and sexy when I wear this. I wear this one when I go out at night too and now and then during the day if I have an important meeting. It is bold and elegant and I love it!  

These next two are new favorites that came across my desk. Juicy Contour's Viva la Juicy. This fragrance has top notes of wild berries and juicy mandarin gently tempered with honeysuckle, gardenia, and jasmine. Underlying it all are warm tones of amber, caramel, vanilla, sandalwood, and praline. This is more on the girly-girl side of scents that I like but still bold enough to make me love it! This can be an everyday, go-to scent and since my little sample is almost gone I think this is my next buy!

Another new purchase I will be making comes from DKNY, a brand that has always had my heart with it's perfumes and I still adore the original Be Delicious scent.  If I had to choose one brand to make my perfumes it would be DKNY! I had this sample come in the office of their Pure scent spray and I instantly knew I had to steal it before anyone else could! In fact, the sample is already gone so even when my fellow bloggers read this...it will be too late :) This Pure perfume has a blend of Vanilla, Dew-Drop Petal, Lotus Flower, Bulgarian Rose, Jasmine, Freesia, Lush Orchid, White Amber, Creamy Sandalwood. It's described style is Simple. Calm. Authentic. I think it is beautiful and I feel really fresh and clean when I have it on. This is also a great daily scent that I would never get tired of. Not to mention it is a fragrance that gave back! Lastly, I can not forget to talk about my latest OBSESSION in perfume, that I hope to never live without...although it has been selling out every time I go in Bath & Body.  C.O. Bigelow's

Lemon Leaf  is the definition of me, hah. The scent portrays my personality perfectly and I can't stop smelling it when I have it on! The warm, revitalizing fragrance blends a combination of Sparkling Lemon, Velvet Winter Fig, Sweet Blackcurrent and sensual undertones of Musk, Rose and Sandalwood...it is dreamy.

After researching all the blends in my favorite perfumes, it has come to my attention that the common traits are vanilla and sandalwood...interesting. Especially intriguing because I took three fragrance personality tests and they all came out saying the same thing.
