Fresh and Clean

Hey Y'all and T.G.I.F. !

Have you ever entered an elevator and asked yourself, "don't you wish everyone used dial?"  Yep, smell is an important part of living in very close quarters.  How about sitting next to someone on the plane and they have on too much cologne or perfume? YIKES!  We've all experienced something like this.

A better experience though is smelling a scent that brings back memories.  For me, it was smelling a perfume that my Grandma used to wear.  My Grandma was an amazing woman and I have very fond memories of her baking pies or sitting at her sewing machine making me dresses for school.  She stood only about 5 foot but had a heart the size of the moon.

My girlfriend always makes fun of me when we go shopping for new fragrances.  She says, "You always choose the same kind of smells, try something new!"  But I can't help it.  The way I look at it is; I will if you're willing to sit next to me all day and smell me.  I always gravitate to clean smells with a touch of floral.  But never rose!  Not my thing.  For example, for the longest time, I used to wear Perry Ellis, 360.  I loved it and I used to get so many compliments on it.  But like most things in my beauty world, I got bored with it.  So I found and love to this day, Dolce Gabbana, Light Blue.  This is my FAVORITE!  I've smelled it on other ladies and it just takes me to a happy place.  So clean smelling and embraces all of my favorite scents, from citrus to cedarwood.

When I do switch it up a little, I love the smell of Sula's Butterfly Kisses.  I recently found this at Ulta on the bottom shelf.  In my opinion, it should be front and center!  Sula offers their scents in both oils and sprays.  My personal favorite is the oil.  It lasts all day and lingers into the night.  Butterfly Kisses has a clean, slightly earthly scent.

So as you tip toe thru the tulips with the sunshine warming your shoulders, remember to love each other!

Peace to you!
