Renew While You Sleep

This weekend we are delighted to welcome back our Lake Forest College blogger Linnea. As she is busy getting back to the grind of college (we hope- hehe), she took time out of her busy Chicago lifestyle to share her review on a vitamin skin care product that revives skin over night!
***************************************
Where do I start? Origins HighPotency Night-A-Mins, a mineral-enriched moisture lotion, combines all the elements I look for in a night cream. Before I go to bed, I wash my face with a cleanser and apply a moisturizer. I prefer a lightweight moisturizer; I don’t like a damp, greasy texture on my face before I sleep. This moisture lotion applies easily (not too thick), absorbs well into my skin, and feels light weight. Not only is this lotion a great consistency, but it provides noticeable benefits to my skin as I sleep.

I always liked the idea of skincare working wonders while I slept, but I never found a product that demonstrated that notion for me. Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins showed me what the right product can do. The description states that the vitamins and minerals work to repair damaged skin during sleep. Sounds great right? Well, I really think it worked! After applying this lotion, the next morning I immediately noticed a difference. My skin looked brighter, more vibrant, and even-toned. It also felt softer, smoother, and hydrated. My skin tone before using the lotion began to seem dull and tired. With this lotion my skin looks and feels renewed. I am not a morning person, so to have my skin appear brighter than I feel is a good way to start the day!

On another note, the lotion does have a relatively strong citrus (almost like vitamin C) scent. But the scent did not bother me; instead I grew to like it and found it to be rather fitting for a vitamin and mineral skincare product. So if you’re looking for a night or vitamin/mineral cream, keep this one high on the list. I’m very picky about the products I use, and I was surprised by how much I liked this one!

Take Care!
Linnea
