New Halloween Kits You Should Know About!

Jessica
HALLOWEEN WEEK!

Hello Fabulous Readers! This week we are excited to be reviewing for you Halloween tips, tricks and new products to enhance your costume of choice this year :)

Taking of of my fave looks and finding better solutions. First up, fake tattoos. One year I was Kat Von D for Halloween and since she has SO many tattoos I ended up wearing the classic tattoo long sleeve shirt. This was limiting though because you were stuck with the design of the whole shirt and their pick of tattoos. I also used a few temporary tattoos in some places, which was nice because I had more of a choice and could position them anywhere...but if I did my whole body with that it would take SO much time and get to be costly. This year if you are looking to get tatted up for a costume I have a few very cool products you should try!

Tulip: Body Art Spray Tattoo Ink & Stencil. It's a temporary tattoo that last for 7 days and is very easy to do! It comes with everything you need; the spray (black or dark blue kit options) and the stencils that conveniently comes with plastic wrap already around the stencil so you don't get spray spatter anywhere but on the design. I actually bought a bunch of various stencils and was able to use those too! Just be careful when do that because it could get spray around the stencil, you can always use rubbing alcohol to clean up round it, that is also how you wash it off when you don't want it anymore.

Another genius tattoo kit is the Earth: Black Jagua Fruit Tattoo Gel. Not only is this perfect for Halloween but if you are considering or have ever considered getting a tattoo but wasn't sure where or what this is a good tester for you! Once on the ink last up to 14 days! It works almost like henna ink but this Jagua ink is black and looks more realistic.
The kit comes with a book of designs that you can copy to transfer paper and then apply to the skin in order to trace the design with the ink. Or you could have an artist friend draw right on you! When applying a design to you, keep in mind it really does last 14 days so make sure it is in a place you can hide if your work doesn't allow body art. Also, I recommend wearing gloves when applying because it WILL stain...and it will not be scrubbed off easily.
This process takes a little more work, but the results are amazing and long lasting! So if you have the time...it takes time to transfer to skin, trace and then it needs to dry with no water contact for 12-24 hours. It will naturally start to flake off and reveal the inked tattoo look...which will darken and fully develop in 24 hours. You need to start 2 days before you intend to show it off for Halloween or anything else.
