Overcome Seasonal Change

Well Fall is officially here... Happy Friday All!  Here in Cali it's been a little slow coming.  The poor trees are just now figuring out that it's ok to let their leaves change.  Like the leaves changing so do your skin needs.  I don't know about you, but when the temperatures are erratic like they have been here, my skin (and sinuses) freak out.  Here in Cali, we go to bed and it's about 80 degrees (cooled down from high 90's), then drops to about 60 during the night and when we wake up it's overcast and chilly.  Then the cycle starts all over again.  So you can see the dilemma my poor skin is in.

What I have found that helps is finding a moisturizing body polish.  One that I have found that works great is from Dermelect- (www.dermelect.com) .  Their Self Heating Total Body Polish is fantastic.  They use Zeolite Technology to provide an instant and invigorating sensation.   As you apply this body polish to your skin, it warms up and with the added fruit acids gently removes the dead skin cells leaving behind beautifully buffed, nourished skin.  After a night of Zumba, I love to use this on my feet.  Because of it's instant heating element, my feet feel so relaxed and ready for round 2.

Since it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I thought this would be appropriate to post...

Different people have different warning signs for breast cancer. Some people do not have any signs or symptoms at all. A person may find out they have breast cancer after a routine mammogram.

Here are some warning signs...
  • New lump in the breast or underarm (armpit).
  • Thickening or swelling of part of the breast.
  • Irritation or dimpling of breast skin.
  • Redness or flaky skin in the nipple area or the breast.
  • Pulling in of the nipple or pain in the nipple area.
  • Nipple discharge other than breast milk, including blood.
  • Any change in the size or the shape of the breast.
  • Pain in any area of the breast.
Keep in mind that some of these warning signs can happen with other conditions that are not cancer.

Encourage your sisters, mothers, friends and Grandmas to get their annual check ups.  Early detection is the best defense against this angry monster.

Fight on Sisters!
Enjoy your weekend and eachother,

Beckie B
