Random Rave Reviews Released!

Happy Wednesday Fabulous Readers :)

Your girl Jessica here again, and I am SO excited to talk about ANYTHING I want! I am on a total overload thinking of all the things I could talk about...we haven't really talked much about makeup (my fave) or celebrity styles (another fascination of mine). So, as the year winds down I think I will turn this blog today into best unwritten discoveries of the year. If I didn't get a chance to talk about something I think is worth your time...well here it is now! Enjoy :)

First I want to talk about a new discovery I did not get a chance to rave about when the topic came up that week. BUT...I have found one of the best and alluring (yes I said alluring) face masks I have tried (and you know I have tried A LOT)! Standing ovation goes to Freeman Beauty and their Chocolate &Strawberry clay face mask. the purpose of this mask is to deep clean and minimize your pores. When thinking about this mask the FIRST thing that comes to mind (and comes up most in conversations about it) is the INCREDIBLE scent! OMG can I die and go to heaven after this? It makes me want to find a baker to create a dessert that smells like THAT...and usually it's the other way around :) Sometimes I will dig out this mask in our Certified Fabulous bins, just to smell it and brighten my day, no joke. Okay enough about the scent, after you stop salivating this mask smoothes right on and what I liked best about this was when it dried it didn't crumble off of your face and flake off everywhere. It dried elegantly...can I use that word for a mask...well I just did, hah. Then when I washed it off, it was easy and left my skin feeling perfectly clean, with the exact right amount of moisture. I have nothing bad to say about this mask...end of story. This was a mask we used as a give-a-way but if you were not the one who won it you should for sure go buy one! As a treat to you readers I have a special discount code you can use to get 25% off yor orders with Freeman Beauty skincare! Blogger25, use it and enjoy. Let me know what you thought after you try it! We can dish about the experience :)

Moving on, I also have to talk about a product I have been curious about for a while now and decided to test out. I always wondered about ingestible skin care, supplements that claim they will do "such and such" for your skin. Could this be true? So I looked into the top supplements for oily/blemish prone skin and came across Murad Pure Skin® Clarifying Dietary Supplements. Sara told me to make this disclaimer before I get into reviewing this product so here it goes...DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a health care professional or in any way have medical experience in recommending supplements. Always consult your doctor before taking supplements. There, now having said that Murad claims this supplement will Reduces blemishes by 55% in only 6 weeks and it encourages consistently clear, healthy skin. I tested this out for 30 days; one bottle (120 pills) is one month supply and cost around $43. Expensive yes, but I will tell you after I finished that first bottle, I immediately bought my second! I found great improvement in my skin and consistently! Even if I saw a breakout about to happen it didn't get far before it started to go away...this is amazing! The hardest part about this was remembering to take the pills at night. I am use to taking pills in the morning so I just took those instead of my multi-vitamin. You have to take two in the morning and then two more in the evening, so I just leave it on my kitchen counter and take the last two right after I eat dinner. Whats in it that makes it so great?  The major ingredients in it that do most of the work are: Vitamin A to stabilize cell turnover to help prevent clogged pores, Yellow Dock and Burdock to support the body's ability to remove blemish-producing toxins and Zinc to help support resistance to skin irritation. It is another added monthly expense for me, but I have found it is SO worth it.

Before this turns into a book, because you know I can keep going, I will talk about one more thing. Makeup, I love makeup and I know we will get a chance to get into some makeup topics and reviews in the near future so I will just briefly discuss some celebrity makeup styles that I have loved. My style, is what I define as Biker Chic...Sara calls it "bohemian rocker" and maybe that is true too, but when it comes to my makeup I mostly like wearing black eye makeup and dark. I like that style with blue eyes, so I do that style a lot. I tend to follow celebrity makeup styles like Kim Kardashian, Taylor Momsen or Kat Von D.

This year,  I have been seeing some simple makeup styles that I have been trying and loving, from people like Taylor Swift or Angelina Jolie and Emma Stone. So in the day I tend to do these simple and classic makeup looks and then at night if I go out or have an occasion to go to I go back to my dark looks.

Who have been your celebrity makeup inspirations this year and what is your favorite looks?? I would LOVE to know!

Anyway, that is all from me...for now!
Have a great week and don't forget to Keep on Being Beautiful You!
