 Hello readers, Amy here, newbie to the FINY staff.

I don’t know about you but this is the time of year when I tend to take a little extra care of my skin since the weather here in the North East can be rough.  I pay particular attention to my face so let’s talk about face moisturizer.  Growing up, there was only one kind of soap in our house and that was Ivory.  It was used as a hand soap and body soap (I think my father even used it as shampoo) Yikes!  It was drying to the face however so I always used a face moisturizer and the old stand by was Oil of Olay (you know, the original beautiful pink cream moisturizer).  Well it’s still my favorite today except I use Oil of Olay Complete All Day UVMoisturizer for sensitive skin and I use it every day.  By the way, I still trust Ivory as hand soap, just not on my face.

 

Oil of Olay Complete All Day UV Moisturizer is light, yet provides great coverage and my face feels soft and smooth all day. I also love that it’s 100% oil and fragrance free and provides protection against UVA/UVB rays.  I love it!

  

Now when the weather turns really cold and especially dry, I also turn to Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion for all skin types. Cetaphil is a must have for sensitive skin like mine and provides immediate relief to those flaky areas that just scream “Help me”!  I slather it on at night or when spending the day outside and my skin is truly grateful.

So remember to take care of your skin this season but most importantly, take care of yourself.
