Banish Oil and Boost Body...No Shower Needed!

 Jessica blogging for you today about dry shampoos! What an amazing invention, huh? I thought this stuff was only used for soldiers overseas that couldn't always get to a shower all the time...I know I would of loved knowing about this stuff when I was deployed!

Now it is growing in popularity and being used by everyone! This isn't just a product to be used in between washing your hair either, this is actually marketed to also boost volume and body. The reason I use it is not for that, however, my hair is thick enough I do NOT need the body. This actually helps me to not have to wash my hair so often, which is good because over washing dries my hair out SO much even when I use conditioner. It also helps preserve my hair color a lot longer too since I am not washing it with sulfates every other day...like I use to do.  

I heard a lot of good things about dry shampoo but there was a lot of negative too, mostly from the brunette and dark hair population. Dry shampoos are basically powder being puffed into your hair or aerosol sprayed in...the purpose is amazing but the result on dark hair color leaves it pasty and white looking...like someone just rubbed baby powder in ...VERY obvious. I love my dark hair I don't want it to look light at all, but I also want the benefits from dry shampoo...so what is a dark haired person suppose to do?! Well, I found just the remedy my friends!

Batiste: Dry Shampoo with a hint of colour for dark & deep brown shades! I have never had a problem with this blending with my hair color. It actually helps me in between colorings when my lighter brown color starts to show on my roots, I spray this on and it blends it in and absorbs the oils to make my hair rejuvenated and refreshed looking! I use this every week at least, I love it!!! It is perfect for me and when I wake up to gross, greasy hair I never worry about what to do with it or never have to resort to just throwing it up in a ponytail! (I don't like wearing my hair up very often...I grew it long for a reason!) So I just part my hair in sections and spray at the root...done, fast! You all know how I like things to work fast and instantly, haha. Lazy but with high standards so it can be a challenge :)
