FABULOUS Nails…

Can I get an F…F!  Can I get an R…R!  Can I get an I…I, oh you know the rest!
Hey Everyone and welcome to the weekend.  I have to agree with Grayce, this has been a fun week.  For me buying nail products to try really don’t require a lot of money or commitment.  If for some reason you don’t like it, you can easily give it to a friend or just simply throw out the polish and not feel to guilty.  It’s not like throwing out a face serum that you spent $95 on, that made you break out.
Now that it’s summer… ok well in California it’s been like  summer;  mid to high 80’s for almost 2 weeks,  Yeah Baby, I feel more inclined to paint my nails and since my toes are seeing more light they get some play too.

So I kept hearing about gel nails and every time I walked by the kits in Ulta, I thought, “Ok next time I’ll buy a kit.”  Well now I have my chance (or should I say excuse) to check out what all the hype is about.  Well let me tell you, it’s not as intimidating as you may think. I picked up the Nutra Nails: Gel Perfect.  When I first opened the box, I didn’t realize there was an activator and cleaner AND polish!  Sheesh!  AND I have to read directions??!?!  What am I doing a chemistry experiment?  If I don’t do this in the right order are my nails going to peel off?  Not really… It’s relatively simple.  Apply activator..it’s a clear coat to each finger on one hand.  Then apply the polish over the top of that.  You can add a second coat if needed and all you do is just repeat steps 1 and 2.  Pretty simple!  My nails looked like they were professionally done.  I was pretty impressed with myself- HA!
My other fun addiction…decals!  Goodbye trying to paint on little tiny flowers… no way! Kiss: Nail Artist stickers was a score, I found little daisies with rhinestones and Hawaiian flowers too.  They’re so cute and look amazing for toes or fingers.  The best part about them, is if you mess up or don’t like how they look, you simply can peel them off and replace.  You don’t have to repaint EVERYTHING!
Here’s a little tidbit of fun for your next cocktail party…
The first ladies to sport the nail polish was in the 1940’s and was designed by our friends in China.
With that… Have a fantastic weekend!
