How to Keep Your Hair Perfect While Traveling

Happy Wednesday Fabulous Readers!

Jessica here to give my two-cents on this weeks topic of Travel Kits. Having a travel kit is SO useful in the summer when I travel the most for work and for pleasure. Since taking a flight now-a-days has some many rules and regulations it's annoying to try to remember what size bottle is allowed and how much liquids I can have at all! My preferred mode of travel is flying so it is very important that I make sure I follow the rules so I don't have to throw away any precious product that I obviously need!!!

Travel kits take away alot of the guess work and are easy to just throw in a bag, no work in having to fill empty bottles and labeling them so you remember what they are. You all know how much I like easy, hah. So I usually just buy a bunch of travel kits specific to needs, like one kit for teeth one for hair. I don't really care for the ones that have a bunch of products mixed in because I have specific needs for my beauty routine and when I travel it is not a time for tirals or experimenting with products. Traveling usually means a business trip where I want to be safe and use product I already know work for me so I can ensure I look good. The same goes when I travel for pleasure, I of course want to look good and  be comfortable with products I already know and use. I do not recommend trying a new product while traveling! You never know what the outcome will be...

I have a few favorite travel kits but I will focus this blog on one I use for my beloved hair. I have very long and thick hair and I love my hair so much I want to give it the best care. It is really dry/frizzy so I look for products that will provide super moiture and smooth out the hair. I have tried more than I can count! I happen to try out a hair travel kit from Carol's Daughter, Monoi Reapiring Collection. This kit includes Monoi Repairing Shampoo, Monoi Repairing Conditioner and a Monoi Repairing Hair Mask. I LOVE this kit! I have always heard people talk about the brand Carol's Daughter and how well it worked so I had to try it. Let me tell you, it IS amazing! I could see an immediate difference in my hair on the first use! I love how it felt and the scent was very pleasant.

Carol's Daughter claims to NOT contain parabens, patroleum, mineral oil or artificial colors...wow, that is great since my hair is always color treated! The Monoi collection uses Monoi Oil which (according to Wikipedia) is an infused perfume-oil made from soaking the petals of Tahitian gardenias (best known as Tiaré flowers) in a semi-wax coconut oil. Monoï (pronounced Mah-noy) is an ancient Tahitian word meaning "scented oil" in the Reo-Maohi language. Monoï is widely used among French Polynesians as a skin and hair softener.
I am so glad I have this kit for my hair, now I can travel worry free and I know my hir will look fabulous! I will have to invest in the full sizes of this product since the kit worked SO well!

Tha is all for me this week! Next week Grayce and I will be in NYC for the HBA beauty show. We will be blogging to you about all the amazing new brands we get to meet and will be getting video of course for our YouTube Channel, so be sure to stay tuned for that! As always let me know if you have any questions or comments or anything you want us to find out about at the show next week!
