A Young, Busy Intern Reveals Her Top Travel Kit for Summer!

Hi Everyone!

Now that it’s summer I’m constantly on the go!  Whether it’s camping in the woods, lounging poolside, driving down to the cape for a girls weekend, or hopping on a plane for a family vacation, I’m always in need of the best protection for my high maintenance skin.  The busy summer months find ways to deteriorate the appearance of my complexion.  Different environmental and chemical effectors like chlorine, sunscreen, beach sand, salt water, etc. are all contributors working against my summer skin.  This is why you’ll never find my overstuffed travel totes without a Dermalogica Travel Kit.  This kit is the perfect size for a complete skin regimen on the go. The natural smooth feeling each product leaves my skin with is something I don’t like to leave home without.  This is made easy with the travel sizes!  Knowing that I have a slight tendency to over pack, I find this little kit slides beautifully into a side pocket of a travel bag.  Now if I could only find a way to fit the cute white wedges in between my other three pairs of shoes I’d be all set!  All of the products are also within flying regulation volumes so I’m never held up going through airport security.

There are multiple things that this kit does for my skin.  The cleansing and rejuvenating aspects in it keep my skin blemish free and give it an even tone that looks fresh and healthy.  It also hydrates my skin while making sure it keeps that natural tone without looking oily.  This makes it easy to feel confident in a variety of situations like laying out on the beach make-up free, or going out at night with a light layer of color; either way it helps my skin to achieve that desired level of radiance and glow. 

One of my favorite parts about this line of products is that a little bit goes a long way.  I can purchase the travel kit at the beginning of the summer and even throughout bringing it along on all my weekends and travel excursions, it lasts even as those hot summer days start to wind down.  Another reason I love this kit is that it’s quick and easy.  With always being on the go this is a huge bonus.  The simple steps take only a few minutes and protect my skin to the best ability all day long.  It then works its magic overnight while feeling weightless and airy like that summer breeze that I can’t get enough of, so I wake up with a clean face and am ready to hit the beach!
