Halloween my Favorite

Sara
Good Monday everyone.... we are getting soooo close to Halloween!!!

This is my absolute favorite time of year.  I think the fall is fun, and romantic!  (could be that I got married in the fall... but that is for another day :) )

Halloween is a magical time where even as an adult you can still play dress up!  And in my opinion there are far few better ways than to deck yourself out in Glitter.

This is a chance to discover new colors, try a little sparkle, reach out of your comfort zone.  Last year, I was Fiona (from Shrek) I experimented with a lot of greens and yellows and discovered, I love them!  I have been incorporating them into my regular rotation of eye shadows since.

Total side note and then I will get back to Halloween...   My absolute favorite way to try new colors is to keep an eye on Nars Cosmetics this brand is amazing and every season they come out with a new pallet, i.e. a new lipstick, eye shadow, blush or tint, a number of products that you can mix match or find your favorite, to spice up what you already have.... (which is exactly what I do)...

Anyway... back to Halloween.... Glitter, Glitter, Glitter..  This is really the only time of the year, that I will all out wear glitter.  So this year, I made a small purchase and got a really cool Make up pallet of color  of glitters and shimmers Design Glitter Eyeshadow Makeup.

Wear an eye primer underneath to help the colors POP, like Smashbox Eyes Primer, this is great to cover under eye dark circles as well.  Just dap a bit and pat all around the eye.

I only discovered eye primers about 1 year ago. It is amazing,  So you put this primer on, it erases the imperfections.. gives you this smooth surface for the eye make up and man the colors really stand out soooo much better.  It will also help the glitter stay a little better, it is not a glue, but just seem to help hold your eye make up in place... also when I use it I do not get the eye make up crease on my lid as the day goes on...

Have a Happy Monday,
Sara
