Skintox

Hi All, and Happy Tuesday!  For today’s discussion on skin purifiers and detoxers, I’m not going to promote a favorite external skincare product—per usual—but instead, I’ll talk about an internal regimen that works wonders for my skin!
I believe the old adage that beauty is best maintained from the inside, out.  External skincare products like creams, serums, and oils obviously provide lots of extra benefit—but it really is “extra” more than anything.   For truly glowing skin, I must be sleeping enough, eating lots of fruits and veggies, and sweating out toxins/impurities with good workouts.
Basically, when my skin is looking/feeling gross, and in need of some detox, chances are the rest of my body is as well.
For a full body detox that always improves the appearance of my skin I will do an occasional day (or three) of Blue Print Cleanse.  This company makes cold pressed juices and ships them anywhere in the country.  During a cleanse, I’ll try to work out (to sweat out impurities), get good sleep, brush/exfoliate my skin, and—of course—only stick to the Blue Print Cleanse juices for nutrition.  Even after a single day of this, my skin will glow and look immensely better than before.  And I'm so excited that now I can buy these juices in Whole Foods--as singles rather than in a full cleanse!  Great for a little balancing pick me up every once in a while.
What do you use to detox your skin??  This is a topic I’m very interested in and would love to learn more about!
Until next week this is Tara signing off and wishing you the very best!
